West-Eleven offers both subsidised and flat fee gallery hire to suitable artists wishing to promote their work at mutually-convenient times during the year. Should you wish to discuss the possibility of showing your work with West-Eleven, please contact us with details about yourself, your chosen medium, number and dimensions of your exhibits and details of any exhibitions you have held previously. We will also need to see some photographs of the work you wish to show, or for installation artists, photographs of previous exhibits. Promotion, including invitations, brochures, etc. can be arranged through West-Eleven, if required, at competitive rates. Flat Fee Gallery HireThe cost of hiring the gallery is a flat fee of £750 per week, inclusive of the following (there is no commission on sales): The exhibitor will have his or her exhibition previewed on the Art in London and West-Eleven websites in the weeks running up to the opening, to include a selection of images, artist's statement and biography. West-Eleven will send out Press Releases to relevant local and national publications. We have a particularly good relationship with the magazine for Notting Hill and Holland Park. A 1/4 page colour advertisement will be placed in Art in London. Artwork can be produced for a small charge, or provided by the artist. West-Eleven will provide assistants to help with the Private View, and the serving of drinks, etc. and will assist in the production of invitations and brochures, if required. Our relationship with our printers and our in-house design service will assure you of the best service and value. If the exhibitor requires gallery assistants on days other than the opening, they can be provided at a rate of £40 per day. A 50% deposit is required on signing the contract, with the balance to be paid in full 7 days before the gallery is made available to the exhibitor. Occasionally, West-Eleven will offer to promote the work of the exhibitor at some of the Art Fairs in which we exhibit or through our own regular exhibitions. Subsidised Gallery HireWe appreciate that not all artists worthy of staging an exhibition in London are financially able to do so. We therefore offer the possibility of staging your exhibition free of charge subject to the following criteria: 1. The artist will take full responsibility for the promotion of their exhibition and satisfy West-Eleven of their promotional campaign. 2. The artist should have a strong mailing list of potential clients. 3. West-Eleven will take 40% commission on sales resulting from the exhibition.
